Material Specialist

Allegion is seeking a highly skilled Material Specialist to join our team in Snoqualmie, WA. As a Material Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by verifying the correct materials and quantities are supplied to the machining team.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify and stage inventory for machining
- Perform timely and accurate data entry to allocate inventory against Pick Lists and other usage
- Provide accurate inventory cycle counts and update inventory locations
- Take the initiative to research and resolve material-related problems
- Communicate and expedite shortages
- Print part labels, Pick Lists, and BOMs
- Offload and move materials to appropriate locations
- Unpack, label, and stock materials and consumables
- Complete necessary documentation for inventory movement and transactions
- Maintain work areas according to 5S principles
- Forklift experience
- 2+ years of experience in material distribution, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Ability to navigate MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to operate power and hand tools and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Consistently demonstrate independent judgment and initiative
