Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough structural and civil infrastructure evaluations and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Apply Life Safety design codes and adhere to industry standards.
  • Utilize computer-aided design software for model creation and analysis.
  • Assess loads and pressures from environmental and human factors.
  • Select suitable materials in accordance with industry specifications and safety protocols.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities and collaborate effectively with contractors and project managers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector, focusing on design, installation, and project management of structural systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of facility infrastructure and structural theory.
  • Proficient in structural design, load analysis, and construction processes.
  • Expertise in site layout, grading, and regulatory approvals.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Advanced skills in building structural systems.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills for effective presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
