Position Overview:

  • Cherry Picker Operator - temp to permanent position.

Compensation:
Competitive pay rate with incentives upon full-time conversion.

Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities of the Cherry Picker Operator:

  • Assist in receiving, handling, stocking, and storing goods in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Cross-training in various departments is required.
  • Operate cherry pickers or lift trucks to transport materials within the facility.
  • Perform order picking and packing as necessary.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Utilize pallet jacks for moving materials.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.

Additional Notes:
Employees may be assigned other related tasks to fulfill the organization's needs.

Qualifications for the Cherry Picker Operator:

  • Experience in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse setting; cherry picker or forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and operating instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies; familiarity with MS-Office products and warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in basic math skills and capable of compiling routine reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and self-motivate to achieve assigned goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
