**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate AEMT to provide direct patient care in accordance with company protocols and online medical direction. As an AEMT, you will be responsible for administering first aid treatment to and transporting sick or injured persons to medical facilities, working as a member of the emergency medical team.

**Responsibilities**

* Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients in accordance with company protocols and online medical direction
* Administer first aid treatment, including application of splints, administration of oxygen or intravenous injections, and treatment of minor wounds or abrasions
* Communicate with professional medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further treatment and to arrange for reception of victims at treatment facilities
* Maintain vehicles and medical and communication equipment, and replenish first aid equipment and supplies
* Document complete, thorough, and accurate Pre-hospital Care Reports and billing forms

**Requirements**

* High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Kansas Advanced EMT Certification or Kansas Eligible
* Infection Control Certificate
* CPR certification
* NREMT certification preferred
* State Driver's License
* Driving record compliant with company policy
* Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
