We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients of all ages, utilizing critical thinking and delegation skills to ensure quality service.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, revising as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer treatments and medications accurately, documenting in electronic medical records.
- Participate in ongoing assessments, developing and implementing plans of care to achieve patient goals.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing or an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
- Obtain CPR and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
- Computer skills required for electronic medical records (EPIC).
