Faculty Position in Hospitalist Medicine Program

We are seeking highly motivated and clinically excellent individuals to join our growing Hospitalist Medicine Program as members of the clinical faculty.

The Hospitalist Medicine Program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a world-class medical environment that offers hands-on patient experiences covering a full range of hematology and oncologic diagnoses. Our hospital is consistently ranked as one of the best places to work, and we are committed to advancing cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.

As a clinical faculty member, you will attend on the St. Jude chemotherapy service, perform staff consultations with fellows, and treat patients in the inpatient and outpatient acute care setting. You will work closely with the nursing staff, advanced practice practitioners, primary oncologists, and subspecialty physicians to ensure quality clinical care for St. Jude patients.

The hospitalist role offers flexible schedules with a mixture of clinical shift types, as well as opportunities for clinical research, quality and patient safety initiatives, and clinical education. You will have the opportunity to teach and educate trainees in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Faculty appointments are housed in the Department that aligns best with a candidate's area of clinical/research focus. The offered faculty rank will be determined based on the chosen candidate's qualifications. An Associate Program Director position is available to an interested and experienced candidate.

Requirements include an MD (or equivalent) degree and board certification/board eligibility in pediatric hematology/oncology. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee and maintain active unrestricted privileges at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Jude is located in Memphis, TN, a family-friendly metropolitan area recognized for its world-class music, food, and hospitality. Cost of living is one of the biggest attractions, and relocation assistance is available.

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We strive to ensure that our culture, leadership approaches, and talent processes are equitable and culturally responsive.
