Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, alignment, and balancing of rotating equipment
  • Use precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers to measure critical machine fits
  • Understand and work with sleeve bearing and ball bearing operation
  • Install new or modified equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality according to specifications
  • Assist with basic repairs, testing, and troubleshooting of electric motors
  • Conduct safe operations of equipment and demonstrate skills to trainees
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years related experience required
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematic diagrams
  • Able to read and understand various schematics
  • Must possess own assorted hand tools
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Regularly stand for long periods, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
