Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager, the Culinary Service Associate is tasked with a variety of responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests, aligning with the organization's mission and values.
  • Exemplify appropriate interactions with guests and team members consistently.
  • Enhance sales through effective Up-Selling techniques.
  • Manage cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures as well as daily financial deposits.
  • Regularly check and document food temperatures to ensure safety.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized work area.
  • Prepare and serve food items to guests.
  • Monitor portion sizes and food quality to reduce waste.
  • Assist in keeping the dining area, windows, and doors clean and orderly.
  • Restock supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health codes and safety standards to achieve a high health score.
  • Follow company policies diligently.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in food service or a related field, with a willingness to undergo training.
  • A friendly demeanor, a commitment to teamwork, and a desire to enhance skills.
  • Ability to present a professional and engaging image to guests and colleagues.
  • Effective communication skills in both individual and small group settings, valuing team input.
  • Capability to read and comprehend operational documents.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions involving American currency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.
