Primrose School of Kingwood is a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping young children learn and grow. As an Early Childhood Educator at Primrose School of Kingwood, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
You will work closely with our leadership team to assess each child's developmental needs and implement tailored teaching strategies to support their growth. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child
- Assess each child's developmental needs and implement tailored teaching strategies
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure high-quality educational programs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates and progress reports
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed early childhood program
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
- Full-time hours every week, with opportunities for overtime
- Discounted tuition for staff children
- Health insurance available after 90-day probationary period
- Paid time off/vacation time begins accruing after one year of service
- Anniversary bonus of $100/year per every year of service
- Weekends off (except Spring Carnival)
