Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team at Powell Watson Automotive Group. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Track and maintain accurate records of daily parts inventory and invoices.
- Parts Fulfillment: Provide timely and accurate delivery of parts to service technicians and sales departments.
- Reporting and Analysis: Identify and report shortages and/or damage to parts inventory.
- Return Processing: Submit parts/warranty returns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inventory Control: Maintain tight control over parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Team Collaboration: Attend weekly department meetings to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma and 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
