Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Barista Team Member to join our Kroger team. As a Barista Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Model Customer 1st behavior by delivering and encouraging other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Promote and follow company initiatives to enhance service and meet sales goals.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of customer service area and equipment, and perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the Duty Rosters and cleaning standards.
  • Inventory Management: Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
  • Cash Handling: Follow cash handling and register policies (for associates 18 and over).
  • Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete Initial Store Training, and pass barista certification with a score of 90% or better.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus six months of experience in customer service; or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Skills: Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects, accuracy/attention to detail, and ability to work weekends on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
