Job Title: Automotive Painter

About the Role:
Caliber Collision Centers has an immediate opening for a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team. As a key member of our paint shop, you will be responsible for ensuring that all paint operations meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing, and materials usage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare color tint to match paint color
- Mix paint colors and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coating, and curing meet OEM standards
- Ensure all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
- Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
