Radiology Technologist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Infojini. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the quality of radiographs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic and intermediate radiologic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm their understanding.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations.
  • Identify patient and label images, compare requisitions to physician's orders, and process images to ensure quality.
  • Assist, communicate, and consult with Radiologists.
  • Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies and enter patient and study information into the radiology information system.

Patient Types and Ratios:

  • Inpatient, ED
  • CT: strokes, traumas, abdominal, COVID, CTA, angiography, contrast/non-contrast, vascular
  • X-Ray: Fluoroscopy, OR, all body parts (chest, abdominal, hand, joint, extremity)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ARRT
  • WI license

Skills and Equipment:

  • CT: IV skills (preferred), power injection, GE or Toshiba experience, CTA experience, trauma/stroke experience
  • X-Ray: General X-ray, Fuji or Cannon experience, fluoroscopy
  • Charting System/Equipment: EPIC (required), McKesson PACS, GE and Toshiba CT Scan, Fuji (portable) and Cannon X-Ray

Floating: Between X-Ray and CAT scan based on needs.
