As an In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver, you will provide compassionate care and support to clients in their own homes, assisting with daily activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care. You will also have the chance to develop your skills through advanced training programs offered by our organization.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a caring and compassionate In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver to join our team at Visiting Angels. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
  • Help clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
  • Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
  • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion

**Requirements:**

  • Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Respectful and compassionate
  • Good time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ethics
  • Physical endurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent

**Estimated Salary:** $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
