Position Overview:
As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our residential and inpatient programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough health assessments and physical examinations for new admissions.
  • Prescribing medications and overseeing treatment plans for clients.
  • Managing the care of patients requiring medical stabilization, including necessary transfers.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.

Work Schedule:
This position will primarily involve weekend coverage for health assessments.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in conducting health assessments.
  • Experience in an inpatient care setting is preferred.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, and crisis management.
