The Field Service Engineer is responsible for day-to-day activities of the network, including equipment installation & commissioning, circuit/node turn-up & testing, customer premise equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting associated with transport infrastructure, switching infrastructure and IP/Data networks.

- Perform equipment installation & commissioning, circuit/node turn-up & testing, and customer premise equipment maintenance.">
- Troubleshoot issues associated with transport infrastructure, switching infrastructure and IP/Data networks.">
- Interact with internal and external customers, service technicians, technical support personnel and other telecom professionals.">
- Work independently with limited supervision and assume all routine tasks for major projects.">
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Knowledge of telecom equipment, including Cisco and Ciena devices.">

- Associate's degree or technical field (industry related) preferred, and/or a combination of job-related experience.">
