Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Assist the surgical team with patient positioning, preparation, and care
- Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures during procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
- Assist with cleaning and sterilization of equipment and supplies
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CAAHEP, NCCT, NBSTSA)
- BLS certification (American Heart or American Red Cross)
- Experience in hospital-based surgical tech preferred
