Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Human Resource Generalist to join our team at The Gersh Organization. This role requires a strong understanding of HR operations and a commitment to excellence.

Salary:$95,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience.

Work Environment:Long Island City, NY and Brooklyn, NY (regular travel required)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain accurate records of employee information.
  • Attend disciplinary meetings and participate in investigations.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including resolving conflicts and providing guidance to supervisors.
  • Develop and implement HR programs to promote a positive work environment.
  • Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews to assess employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and training.
  • Oversee leave of absence processes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • At least 5-6 years' experience in HR Generalist roles.
  • Proven expertise in Employee Relations, including Title VII.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR software.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
