Position Overview:

Acuity International is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our clients through a comprehensive suite of services. We are currently in search of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist to deliver critical support for on-site health units, facilitating rapid response efforts in emergency situations.

Job Responsibilities:

This is a temporary role, with the duration of assignment subject to operational demands and client specifications. The role may require deployment to various locations across the nation.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, including thorough physical assessments and patient interviews, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.
  • Formulate, propose, and execute standard operating procedures related to the administration and oversight of anesthetics, prioritizing client safety, confidentiality, and the delivery of timely, ethical, and high-quality services.
  • Oversee the discharge process for patients recovering from anesthesia. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with contract stipulations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be graduates of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

  • Possess current licensure and adhere to all relevant state laws and regulations governing CRNAs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer usage and common office equipment, including MS Office applications.
  • Exhibit adaptability to sudden changes and flexibility in work assignments, including potential shift modifications based on operational requirements and command priorities.

Work Environment:

Given the current global health landscape, additional personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols may be necessary. Employees may find themselves in settings that support medical responses to health emergencies, including those related to highly infectious diseases.


  • This role may involve physical activities such as bending, stooping, and lifting as necessary for patient care and transport.
