Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced IR Neuro Rad Tech to work with our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiologic images, working collaboratively with department members, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce diagnostic-quality radiologic images by selecting exposure factors and positioning patients.
  • Work cooperatively with department members to resolve problems and improve patient care.
  • Provide excellent patient care by demonstrating flexibility, team spirit, compassion, respect, politeness, and accountability.
  • Administer oral contrast as needed and instruct patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations.
Areas of Emphasis:
  • Operate x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems with competence and proficiency.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to the manager or lead.
  • Complete assigned procedures in a timely manner and utilize downtime to assist others or perform clerical duties.
  • Understand and maintain medication security protocols.
Requirements:
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Two years of experience in a related field.
  • Licensure in the state of NY.
