About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at Garnet Health, a leading integrated health system in the Hudson Valley. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases or disorders of the genitourinary tract, performing surgery for urological disease or disorders, and providing leadership, coordination, and administration for clinics, hospitals, and other facilities that admit or care for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases or disorders of the genitourinary tract
  • Perform surgery for urological disease or disorders
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and administration for clinics, hospitals, and other facilities
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team of primary caregivers and administrative support staff
  • Display the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
  • Urologic Board certification or eligibility within five (5) years
  • 3 years of experience in Urology practice
  • Current Physician Licensure in New York State
  • Graduate of an Accredited M.D. or D.O. Program
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Board Certification or Current Board Eligibility in Urology within 60 months
  • DEA registration valid and unrestricted
Working Conditions

The work is primarily indoors with exposure to various nursing unit and/or patient care elements. Travel to outside facilities is required.
