Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Veterinarian to join our team as an In-Home Animal Care Professional. As a key member of our mobile veterinary team, you will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, guiding families in making end-of-life decisions and building relationships with local veterinary clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, ensuring a peaceful and dignified experience for both the animal and their family.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with pet owners to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized guidance and support throughout the end-of-life process.
  • Collaborate with local veterinary clinics to extend their excellent care and provide a seamless experience for pet owners.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in end-of-life care and veterinary medicine.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a strong focus on end-of-life care and compassion.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pet owners and colleagues.
