Job Title: Lead Host

About the Role:

As a Lead Host at Orange Hill Restaurant, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued from the moment they step through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:
  • Provide warm and professional greetings to guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with courtesy and promptness.
Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and train host/hostess staff to provide top-notch service, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional care.
  • Coordinate host/hostess schedules to ensure proper coverage, ensuring that every guest has a seamless experience.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
Organization and Coordination:
  • Maintain an organized and efficient seating chart, ensuring that every guest has a smooth dining experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to optimize table turnover, ensuring that every guest receives their food in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage waitlists during peak hours, ensuring that every guest is seated promptly.
Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with servers, management, and kitchen staff, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service.
  • Provide clear instructions to the host/hostess team, ensuring that every guest has a seamless experience.
  • Handle customer feedback and communicate it constructively to the team, ensuring that every guest feels valued.
Problem Solving:
  • Address and resolve issues related to reservations, seating, and guest concerns, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and implement solutions, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a lead restaurant host/hostess role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, ensuring that every guest feels valued.
  • Leadership experience is a plus, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems, ensuring that every guest has a seamless experience.
