Job Summary:

The Recovery Home Coordinator will play a critical role in facilitating a safe and supportive environment for residents in our recovery homes. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Assist the Recovery Program Manager in overseeing the operations of the recovery homes and ensuring that facilities are maintained in good condition.
  • Participate in residential intake, discharge, and care plan development.
  • Ensure that residents adhere to program requirements and policies.
  • Log outcomes and participation regularly.
  • Collaborate with staff to create a safe and drug-free environment.
  • Perform room checks and administer drug screens as directed.
  • Participate in assigned trainings and team development meetings.
  • Provide daily presence in recovery homes via remote services.
  • Assist residents in obtaining food.
  • Participate in RWC meetings as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate certifications and licenses for facilities.
  • Complete reports for grants, funding, referral sources, etc., in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with community partners and referral agencies to promote high-quality services.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops and conferences.
  • Inform the Recovery Program Manager, CEO, and Maintenance staff of repairs or updates needed in facilities.

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Educational background in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, addiction studies) or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Two to four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Understanding of recovery and recovery-based programming with chemical dependency.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret correspondence from referral sources and other service providers.
  • Ability to correspond professionally with external agencies.
  • Ability to adequately log and document client outcomes and daily activities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Site Manager, Community Housing Director, and staff.
