Job Opportunity at Morrison Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead our Food and Nutrition Services team in an Acute Care Hospital setting.

This leadership position plays a crucial role in the successful operation of our foodservice department, encompassing patient care, non-patient care activities, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and hospital-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs to ensure a clean and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with patients, clients, and other hospital departments.
  • Promote the professional growth and development of the team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Assist in integrating the food-service department with the facility's operational plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field, or an associate's degree with three years of relevant experience.
  • Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitian certification.
  • Minimum one to three years of hospital or adult home/care experience, depending on formal degree or training.
  • Three to five years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
