Job Summary:
Cornerstone League is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to perform audits of larger, more complex credit unions in our 5-state region. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits to assess the financial condition and internal controls of credit unions.
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure that all relevant risks and control weaknesses are addressed.
  • Provide written reports and oral presentations summarizing audit findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with credit union officials and senior management to implement audit recommendations and enhance internal controls.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have at least three years of experience in internal auditing or a related field. You should also have a strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential for this position.
