Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Nashville General Hospital. As a staff RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric patients, utilizing the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients with diverse needs and conditions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Requirements:

  • Current licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing
  • Knowledge of human growth and development, hospital policies, and patient care procedures
