We are currently hiring a Surgical Technologist for our client in a leading healthcare facility. This will be a Monday to Friday day shift schedule.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing the surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring good working order of equipment and instruments.
Assisting with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
Passing instruments to the physician during surgery, continually accounting for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
Receiving and processing specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
Requirements:
- Surg Tech Certification in the state of Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Graduate of a Program in Discipline
