Job Summary:

Hendricks Regional Health is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and education to athletes, promoting injury prevention and rehabilitation, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for athletic participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat injuries, provide first aid, and make referrals as necessary.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs for athletes.
  • Provide education and training to athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention and treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of athlete treatment and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain certification and stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAATE-approved athletic training curriculum program or internship program.
  • Prefer one year of experience as an athletic trainer, but not essential.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Indiana.
  • National certification as an athletic trainer through the BOC, Inc.
  • Certified CPR.
