About the Role

Ardurra is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Engineering Professional to join our Aviation Group

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
  • Develop construction cost estimates for various projects
  • Keep Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services
  • Assist in design components of various projects, design tasks, and preparation of drawings
  • Provide information to Project Manager or Project Engineer for incorporation into specifications
  • Research design options and present options to Project Manager or Project Engineer
  • Serve as onsite project representative
  • Conduct construction inspection and oversight
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering
  • EI/EIT Certificate required or ability to obtain within 18-months
  • 0 to 3 years' experience in the airport consulting/engineering field preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel, especially during construction season
