Job Summary

Champion Sports Medicine is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide preventative services, emergency care, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions at local contracted events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physician
  • Participate in the Athletic Training Services program, covering school athletic events and practices
  • Design and implement therapeutic programs for rehabilitation of injured athletes
  • Determine the need for and administer athletic training techniques to decrease risk of injury
  • Record athlete response and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate with the sports medicine team to ensure optimal care
  • Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures
  • Participate in outreach opportunities to promote the company

Qualifications

  • BS Degree REQUIRED, Masters degree preferred
  • National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Applicable state license where required
