Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Northwest Regional Education Service District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in facilitating communication competence for students with special needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, culturally sensitive speech and language services to students in various educational settings. This includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, as well as collaborating with teachers and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students with special needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to address communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure effective communication and implementation of plans
  • Provide speech and language services in various educational settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive plans for students with special needs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Oregon Teaching License with Speech Impaired endorsement or State of Oregon Licensing Board's Speech Pathology License
  • Experience working with students with special needs and communication disorders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced educational setting
