This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support students in their speech and language growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders under the guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a supportive atmosphere for students' communication development.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to assess student progress and contribute insights for instructional adjustments.
- Assist in incorporating diverse teaching methodologies and resources to effectively address students' diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Possess state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Show familiarity with various teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
