Job Description

As an

Armed Security Specialist


you will protect and serve clients across various sectors including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday

Compensation:
$20.90/HR

Location:
Fairfax, VA

Must possess an active DCJS Security license for the state of VA.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and executing emergency response actions when necessary.
Address incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas. Note that working conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old for armed positions.
Two years of armed security experience or military/law enforcement background is required.
A high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience is necessary.

As a condition of employment, candidates will undergo a background check in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, candidates will be subject to a drug screening as permitted by law.
Participation in industry-specific security and safety training programs is mandatory.
Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.
Candidates must be able to pass a polygraph examination.
Passing a fitness test is also required.
*A valid driver's license is necessary for driving positions only.
