About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our Nutrition Services Team at God's Love We Deliver. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing nutrition education and counseling to our clients, their families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the nutritional status of clients and develop comprehensive nutrition care plans to address their unique needs.
  • Plan and track dietary modifications to alleviate symptoms associated with illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and Multiple Sclerosis.
  • Provide outreach and education to hard-to-reach and under-served communities through workshops, lectures, and educational materials.
  • Contribute to research initiatives that build the Food as Medicine movement and assist with writing and publishing God's Love We Deliver publications.
  • Support interns in learning how to provide nutrition education and support to clients.
About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and empathetic individual with a strong desire to provide support to clients living with serious illnesses. You should be a team player who is energized by providing nutrition education and counseling to clients with varied medical conditions.

In addition to a strong passion for nutrition and education, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science with an emphasis on community nutrition, public health, and/or nutrition education.
  • Registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with maintenance of current registration.
  • A minimum of two years' prior experience in nutrition counseling.

We prefer candidates with an advanced degree in Nutrition Science and bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
