About the Job
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a temporary assignment basis. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of personnel, including radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for operating computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, positioning them safely and accurately, and working closely with radiologists to obtain excellent images for accurate diagnosis.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations, current BLS certification (AHA/ARC), and one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist. You should also possess critical thinking skills, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is essential. You should be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, pushing, pulling, bending, grasping, fine manipulation, and ability to move equipment when necessary. Interpersonal skills require working effectively with various personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/motor skills involve ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and moving about when assisting with procedures or using department equipment. Mental requirements include coping with frequent contact with the general public, customers, meeting deadlines under pressure, working under close supervision occasionally, and continuous concentration to detail. Sensory skills include visual acuity and effective communication.

Essential Work Functions
The following are the essential work functions of this position:
1. Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
2. Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
3. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
4. Provide high-quality images to radiologist for interpretation.
5. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
6. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
7. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital's system.
8. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
9. Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
10. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
