We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Chair-Side Assistance: Provide expert support to dentists during procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.
- Instrument Management: Maintain and sterilize instruments, and prepare restorative materials as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient clinical workflow.
- X-Ray Services: Perform intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays, develop and mount x-ray films, and maintain x-ray equipment according to specifications.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, order supplies as needed, and ensure the setup of trays for patients.
- Quality Assurance: Complete daily instrument count sheets, perform dental screenings, and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our dental clinic.
- Education: Requires an Associate's Degree or Certification in Dental Technology from an accredited school.
- Experience: Must have experience working in a private or public dental practice as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
