Cook Job Description

At Cambridge Health Alliance, we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our Food Service team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare large-scale quantity cooking, including meats, vegetables, fish, and other menu items.
  • Supervise and perform duties related to food preparation and storage, such as cleaning and sanitizing work stations and equipment.
  • Follow standardized written recipes and have knowledge/training in the usage of food production equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Food Service team to ensure efficient and effective food production.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Prior food service experience necessary.
  • A two-year experience in quantity food production preferred.
