We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join the team at Atlantic Boat Rental inc. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data and transactions into our accounting system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Transaction Verification: Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare trial balance and other financial reports as required, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll on the ADP platform on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment to vendors and collection of outstanding invoices.
- Tax Compliance: Complete required tax forms and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Accounting Experience: Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position, with a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro, Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting systems, with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
