POSITION OVERVIEW

The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (RTA) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The RTA will engage with patients experiencing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary challenges. This position emphasizes outstanding customer service while complying with all relevant state and federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program, holding an Associate's degree in science or applied science recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
  • Possession of a current, unencumbered license or certification to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Current CPR certification, obtained through an in-person course that includes a practical skills assessment.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
