Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
- Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
- Provide emotional support and stability to individuals with complex needs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
