About the Position
As an Early Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will be working in a classroom of children aged 2-3 years old. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a nurturing and safe environment while collaborating with your partner Teachers to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom.

The ideal candidate will possess good judgment when it comes to the care of each child assigned to them. They will also engage verbally with the children throughout the day, incorporating various activities into the curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Create a responsive environment that promotes positive development of social and emotional competencies.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members to achieve common goals.
- Communicate daily with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress.
- Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.

Requirements
A High School Diploma is required, along with 6 semesters or 9 quarter early childhood education units that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum. The successful candidate will also demonstrate patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Prior teaching experience with preschool students is a plus.
