Job Summary

Go4Healthcare is seeking a certified athletic trainer to lead our sports medicine program at a secondary school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in athletic training and be able to provide top-notch care to student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive sports medicine program, including injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment of student-athletes.
  • Provide athletic training services, including attendance at team practices and competitions.
  • Collaborate with the team physician to review pre-participation physical examinations and coordinate medical referrals.
  • Manage the athletic training room, including inventory and budgetary responsibilities.
  • Assist the athletic director with safety and medical concerns for athletic events and emergency action planning.
  • Evaluate and recommend new techniques, equipment, and policies to enhance the sports medicine program.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
  • Board of Certification required, VA state licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an athletic trainer preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply.
