About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at Oracle. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a new set of enterprise applications across a broad range of functional areas that will serve a vast community of users across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product managers to understand and refine requirements
  • Build prototypes to answer questions and move quickly
  • Think large scale and architect applications that will be used across the globe
  • Build, Deliver, and Own applications, with experience with the entire software development lifecycle
  • Deliver increments in sprints, following Agile development methodologies
  • Do root cause analysis to improve the quality of the product, simplify the development process, and improve developer productivity

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
  • 3+ years of software engineering or related experience
  • Strong system design knowledge and distributed systems architecture best practices
  • Knowledge of clean code principles and experience writing great code in Java or other OO languages
  • Strong expertise in System Design, REST, SQL, and Data model
  • Experienced in any of the computing platforms, such as OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Hands-on experience working with incident management, monitoring, observability, and testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
  • Experience working with AI and Data Scientists teams
  • Worked in Agile environments and with Agile methodologies
