Required Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Familiarity with cash handling protocols and inventory oversight.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of problem-solving in diverse scenarios.

Experience and Education:

  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Understanding of blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Proficient knowledge of systems such as conveyor and fire protection mechanisms.
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • On-call support for distribution center functions.
  • Prior maintenance experience is essential; experience in automated retail distribution centers is advantageous.
  • Experience in supervisory roles and vocational training as a tradesperson is preferred.
