Patient Navigator Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Navigator Advocate to join our team at Mid Cities Psychiatry. In this vital role, you will play a critical part in supporting patients by managing referrals, enhancing our brand presence, and educating them about our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a Welcoming Patient Experience: Promote a positive atmosphere and provide exceptional customer service to patients.
- Manage Patient Flow and Scheduling: Ensure timely care by providers and manage patient check-ins/outs, educate patients, and manage payments.
- Collaborate with Mental Health Professionals: Work closely with other mental health professionals at the clinic to deliver the highest quality care to patients.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support for the practice, including organizing and maintaining patient areas.
- Bachelor's Degree and Experience: A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation.
- Healthcare Experience: 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and experience with EMR systems.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and a positive attitude.
- Critical Thinking: Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to handle complex situations.
- Self-Motivation: Be self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Office setting with a focus on desk work and frequent computer use. Physical demands involve light lifting, prolonged standing, and frequent use of the phone.
