Role Description:

Volt is hiring for a highly skilled Technical Drafter to join our team in the Tipton and Muscatine area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed design sketches and models using SolidWorks.
  • Develop engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing.
  • Maintain and update AutoCAD technical documents.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation packages for engineers.
  • Verify drawings meet specifications, codes, and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Drafting & Design or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD required.
  • Strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
