Position: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
Contract Type: 3-month contract to hire
Shift: 1st Shift
Role Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with hazardous materials management and a strong understanding of safety training and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on environmental health and safety practices.
- Assist in the management of hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal methods are followed.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in Safety, EHS, and OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety standards.
- Experience in Industrial Hygiene and Hazard Analysis.
- Strong communication and training abilities.
Qualifications:
The candidate should possess intermediate experience in Environmental Health and Safety, with a focus on safety management and hazardous waste handling.
