Pharmaceutical Specialist

Job Description:

Pharmacists play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. As a Pharmacist at Actalent, you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications and providing patients with information about their use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior Authorization: Ensure that patients receive the necessary medications by obtaining prior authorization from healthcare providers.
• Medication Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of various medications, including their purpose, side effects, and potential interactions.
• Medication Reconciliation: Verify patients' medication lists to prevent errors and ensure continuity of care.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, addressing their concerns and questions in a professional and empathetic manner.

Job Type: This is a contract position with a duration of 3 months.

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Stanford, California.
