We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality advanced nursing care to patients in accordance with professional regulatory standards and within the scope of your license.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient evaluations and assessments, patient education, interventions, and document plans of care.
- Request physician consultations and multidisciplinary consults as needed.
- Recognize and address ethical, legal, and medical dilemmas in nursing practice, conferring with appropriate resources and staff as necessary.
- Work independently or under indirect supervision of a supervising physician, providing care to a variety of age populations.
- May work different hours, weekends, and holidays, with possible on-call time.
- Master's in Nursing (MSN) or DNP required.
- Current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in California.
- Furnishing license issued by the State of California and personal DEA number (for all areas other than Breast Center).
- National board certification as Nurse Practitioner in area of specialty required (except Outpatient Oncology and Medical Imaging).
- BLS required.
